John Fredericks Media Network (JFMN) Expands to Nine Radio Stations in West Virginia

The John Fredericks Media Network, which lays claim to be the largest independently owned and operated news-talk-sports network in America, has expanded its operations in West Virginia. Fredericks radio company, Disruptor Radio, LLC has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement (APA) with LHTC-Radio Division to acquire it’s nine stations in West Virginia, which include:

• WGYE 102.7 FM / 95.3 FM – Morgantown WV, Mannington WV

• WMMN AM 920 / 95.7 FM – Fairmont WV, North Central WV, Wheeling WV

• WHTI 105.7 FM – Clarksburg WV

• WZST 100.9 FM – Morgantown WV

• WBKE AM 1490 / 98.3 FM – Morgantown WV, Fairmont WV, Grafton WV

• WRLF 94.3 FM – Morgantown WV, North Central WV, Fairmont WV

Disruptor Radio will take over operational control of the above stations effective today (1/6) through a License Management Agreement (LMA) with LHTC-Radio division until the sale formally closes. Both the LMA and APA have been filed with the FCC and is a matter of public record. The URL is WVTheTorch.com and a radio APP is available. The addition of the West Virginia radio cluster gives Fredericks’ company a total of 22 signals from West Virginia to Georgia.  The new West Virginia stations will air the JFRN lineup of populist proprietary hosts and sports. WVTheTorch.com and WZST 100.9 FM will remain the flagship radio network for WVU Athletics, which airs WVU Mountaineer football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and baseball on all WV channels except WGYE and WHTI. WVTheTorch.com and its affiliated network carries the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL.

Fredericks tells TALKERS, “This West Virginia opportunity is key to our growth plan, as it dovetails nicely with our Pittsburgh footprint and reaches a very pro-populist, pro America First and pro-Trump area of America. West Virginian’s voted overwhelmingly -over 70 percent- for President-elect Donald Trump, who also carried Morgantown and the county. MONDAY MEMO: Could you be next?

Each day’s trade press reports how station managers are being saddled with entire regions. Key daypart talent in top 10 markets is being simulcast in other top 10 markets. In 2024, WCBS disappeared entirely. KGO is long-gone. Consolidation cutbacks have been brutal, and more are inevitable.

Accordingly, nine suggested New Year’s Resolutions, smart moves if you’re still working.

1. RESOLVE to build an email list. It’s yours. You control it.

2. RESOLVE to interact with your email list. If they gave you their address to begin with, that was only the beginning. They’re your tribe. Engage them and nurture ongoing relationships.

3. RESOLVE to become more curious about your own species. Eavesdrop on real people, in line at Wal-Mart and Dunkin’ and everywhere else. When you go to renew your driver’s license, look around the room. Then…

4. RESOLVE to focus your show outward. It’s not a show about you and your life. It’s about listeners and their lives. Choose issues and topics that will confront a listener today, right now. Your goal is making phones ring. When it’s caller-after-caller, you sound popular… and advertisers notice. Screen for callers that’ll prompt responses. You’re moderating a chat room, not standing on a soap box. People now favor interactive media. Talk radio survivors will be hosts who excel at two-way radio.

5. RESOLVE to aircheck every show. Not just to keep your resume fresh, but as a self-teaching tool. Wait two weeks before listening, to hear your work with fresh ears.

6. RESOLVE to be the sales department’s MVP. NOBODY can sell your show like you can. Heck, you might ask for more (and get it) than reps would. But even if you don’t carry a list, make yourself available to go on calls. Your on-air pitch will be better-informed and more-effective than sounding like you’re reading-copy. And listen to the retailers you meet. They have a keen sense of their customers’ issues.

7. RESOLVE to create non-radio income streams. The skill set you have as an on-air host or programmer will advantage you in many other walks of life. And remember, if you’re on-air, you enter other local industries with another advantage, your name, “a brand.” And here’s some highly recommended reading, “Making A Living Without a Job,” by Barbara Winter, whom I’ve interviewed. Consider driving Uber, if only to chat-’em-up. You’ll crush Resolution #3 above.

8. RESOLVE to save more aggressively. “Save WHAT???” you ask. Simply saving-money-you-now-may-be-spending-unnecessarily can make a big difference. The loudest sucking sound you’ll hear is coming from that plastic in your wallet. Finance charges are calculated so that you’ll never pay off your card by making the minimum payment. Got a mortgage? Refinance. Brokers are competing for your business, and you could save a couple hundred a month. How often do you eat out?

9. RESOLVE to get it together. Whatever it is that you know you should do but haven’t. Quit smoking. Get more exercise. Cut down on carbohydrates and sugary crap. Drink more moderately. Get organized at home. As Dave Ramsey says, “Sell stuff!” Move-the-ball on that kinda stuff, and you’ll be readier for what happens next.

Neil Cavuto Exits FOX News

After 28 years on the job, FOX News (FOX News Network and FOX Business Network) host/commentator Neil Cavuto surprised his audience at the conclusion of his “Your World” show yesterday (12/19) by announcing that it would be his final show with the network. During his long run, the business news specialist – often on the receiving end of Donald Trump‘s ire – wore a number of hats at FOX and was known for his independence even when it meant taking on positions unpopular with the network’s base viewers. Cavuto closed the show with the following remarks, “This is it. The final segment, but today I also wanted to let you know this is my final show. I’m leaving FOX. I’ve been planning this day for some time, this just seemed like a good time. Now, some of you might be thinking, ‘well, Neil, it is about time!’ After all, I’ve been doing this for nearly three decades here. You know, there are people working with me now, who weren’t even born when I started at FOX — that’s how old I am. But I’m not leaving journalism, I’m just leaving here. But I’m forever grateful to my bosses here. Harrison Begins “Don’t Stop Talking” Tour in Support of Radio Anthem

TALKERS publisher Michael Harrison will be spending a large part of his holiday doing media interviews across America in support of the new Gunhill Road music video, “Don’t Stop Talking.”  The song is an anthem co-written and performed with his bandmates Steve Goldrich, Paul Reisch, and Brian Koonin in celebration of talk radio. The video component of the project, produced by TALKERS associate publisher Matthew B. Harrison, features clips and images of almost 100 different talk show hosts in action from across the industry.  The powerful words and extremely catchy music extoll the virtues of talk radio as a platform for freedom. Chris Stigall to Join Salem Radio Network in Lineup Shuffle

ChrisWith the imminent departure of Salem Radio Network (SRN) star Sebastion Gorka to join the forthcoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump in an advisory position, longtime Salem Philadelphia morning star Chris Stigall of 980 AM WNTP will replace Hugh Hewitt in the 6:00 am – 9:00 am ET position starting January 13. SABO SEZ: Get a New Job

Walter M. SterlingA surprising number of talented radio stars have been fired. Never understood why this is morally sanctioned between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The spreadsheet MBAs know it’s coming, a Halloween surprise would be kinder.

These suggestions might make the path to employment faster:

• No more stigma. Every industry has had massive lay-offs and job consolidation, being fired is not a reflection on you.

• The people who will help you are those who have already hired you. A prior employer wants to be proven-right. They want to see you succeed to validate their own decision. Make the list of everyone who has hired you, and call them. Don’t text or email. Call them. Ask for ADVICE. Not a job. Advice. They know your strengths and weaknesses. Ask who they know, who  you should meet and what your approach should be.

• Present solutions, not a CV. Identify the exact company or person for whom you would like to work. What are their problems? Write down your solutions. Package it pretty. A written presentation of ideas is something an employer has to “deal with”—a CV can be filed. You don’t want to be filed, you want a meeting.

• In your meetings, demonstrate superior knowledge of the company and express nothing but joy for your prior employer.

• You don’t want a “job” you want to participate in a solution.

• Skip the job postings, those are already filled.

John Molloy’s book Dress for Success is correct. Every single word.

• Study your social network of people outside of radio. Think of all of your connections and relationships. Who do other members of your family know? You may realize that you have connections to major advertisers, community big shots, bankers, investors, ad agencies, media buyers.  Contact them and ask them for advice. You may hear, “I was at a community meeting with the president of a radio company…” Or, “We buy a lot of time on radio…”  Try it.

• Finally don’t be stupid. Post nothing. Nope, not that.

• Time off is a gift at this time of year. Embrace the moment.

KIRO Newsradio Welcomes Frank Lenzi as News Director

KIRO Newsradio, Seattle has named Frank Lenzi as its new news director. Frank joins KIRO from Seattle’s KNWN (formerly KOMO Newsradio), where he has worked for the past 16 years, most recently serving as program director and news director. Frank LenziWith nearly 30 years of experience in journalism, Lenzi has held roles as morning editor, managing editor, and most recently, news director and program director at KNWN/KOMO. He led coverage of major events such as the 2009 Lakewood Police shooting, the 2014 KOMO TV helicopter crash, and the 2020 police dispersal of the Seattle CHOP Zone.  Bonneville Seattle SVP/ market manager Cathy Cangiano tells TALKERS she’s eager for Lenzi to come aboard. “Frank’s extensive experience and proven leadership in the industry make him the perfect fit for our team. His dedication to journalistic excellence and his ability to inspire and lead will keep our newsroom standards high. Jimmy Kimmel’s Fair Use Victory: What It Means for Content Creators

imIn a recent high-profile case, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel successfully defended himself against a copyright infringement lawsuit brought by former congressman George Santos. The case, which centered on Kimmel’s use of prank videos involving Santos, highlights the ongoing importance of fair use protections for media creators, broadcasters, and digital content producers.

The dispute began when Kimmel used clips of prank videos that featured Santos as part of his comedic commentary on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” program. Santos alleged that Kimmel’s use of the videos constituted copyright infringement and sought damages, claiming unauthorized use of his content. However, the court ruled in favor of Kimmel, citing fair use as the primary defense. The judge noted that Kimmel’s use of the videos fell under fair use because it was transformative, used for commentary and criticism, and did not replace the original work’s market value.

This ruling has significant implications for media content creators. Fair use is a cornerstone of U.S. copyright law, allowing limited use of copyrighted material without permission for purposes such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, education, and parody. For broadcasters, YouTubers, podcasters, and other digital content creators, the Kimmel decision reaffirms that transformative use – where the original material is repurposed to add new meaning or context – is often protected under fair use.

The court’s emphasis on commentary and criticism is particularly relevant for creators who rely on existing media to produce content. For example, reaction videos, parodies, and satirical takes are common formats in digital media. The Kimmel case serves as a reminder that using copyrighted material to engage in meaningful critique or humor can fall squarely within fair use, provided the new work adds value and does not simply replicate the original.

However, this case also underscores the importance of understanding the boundaries of fair use. Creators should ensure their work meets key criteria: transformation of the original content, limited use, and a lack of negative impact on the original work’s market. While Kimmel’s team successfully navigated these elements, creators without the resources of a major broadcaster may face challenges if their work is contested.

Ultimately, Kimmel’s fair use victory is a win for free expression and creativity in media. It reinforces the ability of content creators to engage with and critique cultural moments without fear of legal repercussions, as long as their use aligns with fair use principles. For media creators navigating the digital landscape, this case provides both a legal precedent and a valuable lesson in the power of transformative content.

Ironically, AI will be the big story at the mega-event presented by what began 100 years ago as the Radio Manufacturers’ Association. Since then, it evolved into the Consumer Electronics Association, now the Consumer Technology Association. So – although next month’s extravaganza is still nicknamed “CES” — we are under strict instructions NOT to call it the “Consumer Electronics Show” anymore.

Yes, there will be acres and acres of gadgets in a Las Vegas Convention Center so sprawling that – if you want to get from one end to the other — Elon Musk will give you a free ride, underground. He has a hundred Teslas zipping through a tunnel his Boring Company is… boring. Picture a high-tech Batcave. Ultimately, they’re planning 93 stations across 68 miles of tunnel linking the Strip, downtown, and elsewhere. These cars have drivers… for now.

Some 150,000 of us, from 155 countries, will be swarming in Sin City to celebrate the obsolescence of what was shiny-and-new last year, and to see new game-changers unveiled. Not just things. Think experiences, like Uber and Zoom and robust smartphone video, which 4G enabled. With 5G we got remote surgery, precision agriculture, and interactive live events. 6G? Stay tuned.

Rich Eisen Will Replace Jim Rome in the 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm ET Time Slot on the Radio on Infinity Sports Network in Early 2025.According to the New York Post, Rich Eisen“The Jim Rome Show” – nicknamed “The Jungle” – will be moving to the 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm ET slot and be independently syndicated by Westwood One. Rome hinted at the news when he teased a big show announcement for Monday in a post on X over the weekend. Infinity is a partnership between Audacy and Westwood One. Rich Eisen’s show can also be found on Roku and every relevant podcast platform,im with highlights additionally posted on YouTube and through a Yahoo Sports portal. Premiere Networks-syndicated personality Clay Travis, co-host of “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show,” broadcast live from Israel this week (12/9-12) in partnership with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ), the leading non-profit organization building bridges between Christians and Jews while providing humanitarian care and lifesaving aid. In addition to co-hosting the radio show live from JNS – Jewish News Syndicate, Travis toured the region with the IFCJ, learning about the country’s rich history and the challenges faced in the current climate. He shared his first-hand accounts with millions of listeners this week as he traveled throughout the country, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. In the North, Travis toured the town of Metula near the border with Lebanon that endured attacks from Hezbollah. Atlanta Hawks and Audacy today (12/13) Extend Their Multi-Year Relationship to Continue Making Sports Radio 92.9 The Game (WZGC-FM) the flagship station of the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network. As part of this agreement, all 82 Hawks NBA games can be heard throughout Georgia on the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network, which consists of affiliate stations in multiple markets and reach millions of listeners throughout the season.  The Game LogoAtlanta Sports Hall of Famer and Georgia Radio Hall of Famer Steve Holman, also known as the Voice of the Hawks, is in his 40th season and has never missed a Hawks’ regular season or playoff radio broadcast. SterlingThe remarkable ratings rise, and buzz being created by Walter M Sterling‘s “Sterling Every Damn Night” (10:00 pm – 1:00 am) on Audacy’s WPHT, Philadelphia is worthy of the entire talk radio industry’s attention.  When he started in May, the time period was 18th with a 2.8 Total Adults in Nielsen. In his first month and first hour, the show got a 7.2, # 4. Now the November numbers are a 9.2, total adults, number 2 in Philadelphia.  This is AM only.  No FM.  All this reflects over the air listenership, no stream numbers included.  And to the best of our knowledge, there has been no marketing campaign attached to the success. It’s been organic.  Sterling (A.K.A. legendary consultant Walter Sabo) has taken quite an original approach to news/talk radio in performing the show – mixing a blend of old-time radio sounders and techniques with idiosyncratic, unexpected takes on everyday topics that impact people’s daily lives.  He is clever, funny, surprising and extremely irreverant… And it’s working big time.  A word to the wise: check it out. Don’t let this spark go unfanned.

SABO SEZ: They Fired the Sax Player!

Walter M. SterlingA grim day. They fired the whole band. You know who “they” are! Bloated management. The future of radio… ruined!

Year: 1936. Bandleaders took WNEW, New York, to court claiming that it was illegal to play recorded music on the air. Recorded music, conductors believed, stole performance rights fees from musicians. Consequently, Radio stations hired live bands to play music and networks offered live bands to affiliates until the court made a decision on the complaint.

Ultimately, the courts said that as long as a radio station owned the record, they could play it on the air.

Local bands were fired, network bands were fired. The radio industry embraced recorded music when it realized that WNEW’s

DJ Music show, “The Make-Believe Ballroom” was pulling a 25 audience share.

Airing recorded music was legal and moral. But many talented, capable, often union musicians lost their jobs. The radio industry changed.  That change resulted in the viability of modern radio.  Recorded music birthed the business of top 40.  Kids in an Akron record shop discovered “race” music in the back of the store and bought it with passion and speed compelling the retailer to reveal the phenomenon to local DJ Alan Freed. Freed put the songs on the air for a few hours a week… then he labelled the music rock ‘n’ roll.

Rock might never have defined our culture if music selection had been left up to the in-studio live bands. And a one and a two.

But a lot of musicians were fired in 1936.

This month, tragically at the holidays, many of our colleagues have lost their jobs. Time to challenge the aging legacies and rock.

The stage awaits.

Suzanne Miller and New York Real Estate Saluted at Gala WABC Awards Party

Robert PearlNoted real estate industry figure and radio personality Suzanne Miller, the founder of Empire State Properties and host of “The Miller Report,” was honored last night (12/11) in a dazzling awards party featuring speakers, food, music, and dancing in the Manhattan offices and studios of WABC Radio. The event brought together New York media luminaries, and close friends of Miller for a night, in a packed room, celebrating not only her accomplishments but the resilience and vibrancy of the city she loves.

WABC Radio and Red Apple Media owner John Catsimatidis set a festive tone by introducing legendary entertainer (and multi-station NYC radio personality) Joe Piscopo. Piscopo delivered an unforgettable performance of Frank Sinatra classics, including “New York, New York,” igniting a chorus of guests singing along. “This is what makes New York the greatest city in the world!” exclaimed Catsimatidis, who shared the stage with WABC stars Rita Cosby, Sid Rosenberg, and Frank Morano, alongside his wife (and WABC co-owner), Margo Catsimatidis, and WABC/Red Apple Media president Chad Lopez.

Lopez lauded Miller’s career. “Suzanne has achieved over $5 million in sales and transactions, created 500 jobs, and played a pivotal role in rebuilding Battery Park after 9/11,” he remarked. “But if you ask Suzanne, she’ll tell you her greatest accomplishments are her two children. That humility is what makes her so special.”

Miller, visibly moved, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the audience. “A year and a half ago, I was at my kitchen table with my kids, dreaming about ‘The Miller Report,’” she shared. “Today, we’ve touched over 5.5 million people, discussing New York, real estate, and life itself. This city, these people, it’s what drives me.”

She recounted her journey as a Brooklyn-born daughter of immigrants, whose parents arrived with just $30 after surviving immense hardships during World War II. Recounting her humble beginnings in Canarsie, she gave a shout out to another Canarsie kid, radio host and Guardian Angels founder, Curtis Sliwa, also in the room. Her mother’s investment in a Brooklyn property sparked Miller’s lifelong passion for real estate. “That’s when my love for New York began,” she said. “This city is tough, but its heart is unbreakable. Never bet against New York!”

Rita Cosby highlighted Miller’s impact on the city. “Suzanne, you’ve been a cornerstone of WABC and a vital part of New York’s growth,” Cosby praised. “You embody what makes this city thrive – vision, grit, and compassion.”

Sid Rosenberg delivered his assessment of the Big Apple: “Real estate is booming here in New York, but we’ve got to vote smart. It’s time to bring back our beautiful city and state to what they should be – but we need to have the right leadership,” he said in his signature New York style.

As the evening progressed, Miller’s humor and candor shone. She thanked her team, family, and key supporters, including Gary Brody, who helped brand “The Miller Report.” She also paid tribute to Margo Catsimatidis, calling her “the First Lady of New York” for her “elegance and influence.” As for the city’s future. “We’ve got work to do,” she said passionately. “But New York isn’t just going to survive – it’s going to thrive.”

The WABC Awards Party was a testament to the enduring spirit of New York City and the power of community. In the words of Chad Lopez, “Tonight, we honor Suzanne Miller not just for what she’s done, but for what she inspires us all to be.”

According to a piece by writer Kase Wickman published yesterday (12/10) in Vanity Fair, Kylie Kelce‘s new podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” has unseated Joe Rogan‘s “The Joe Rogan Experience” from its lofty position at the top of the most-listened charts on both Apple and Spotify.”  KelceKylie Kelce, wife of former Philadelpia Eagles star Jason Kelce, sister-in-law of Kansas City Chiefs star (and Taylor Swift boyfriend) Travis Kelce, mother of three (with a fourth on the way), and Dunkin’ Donuts enthusiast, can add another descriptor to that incomplete list: No. 1 podcast host.  Wickman writes, “I suspect Rogan will be back in first place soon, but for now, this ranking reinforces the Kelce family’s cultural dominance. (‘If everyone’s going to be talking about me and my family, you might as well hear it from me,’ she says in the show trailer.)”  Kelce’s husband Jason and brother-in-law Travis host the popular “New Heights” podcast. Mike Gallagher and Hugh Hewitt Fill in for Dennis Prager on the High Seas.  With his Salem Radio Network (SRN) colleague Dennis Prager still sidelined after a serious back injury suffered during a fall last month, talk host Mike Gallagher boarded the Rotterdam – one of Holland America’s newest ships – to pinch hit on a Prager Listener Cruise to Aruba and other Caribbean destinations last week.  SRN’s Hugh Hewitt hosted the first half of the cruise which offered daily in-person presentations for listeners in the ship’s theater. (Ever the showman, Gallagher also entertained Prager listeners with a rendition of the “Guys and Dolls” Broadway hit “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat.”) Gallaher (pictured above during one of the events onboard) admits, “Dennis’s listeners are so loyal, I initially feared they might make Hugh and me walk the plank, but we had a fantastic time, and it was a great tribute to Dennis on the high seas.”

Why Teasing Isn’t for Every Talk Show Host

Russ RollinsAfter over three decades as a talk show host, I’ve come to appreciate one essential truth about this industry: there’s no one-size-fits-all formula for success. Program directors, executives, and consultants often believe their advice applies universally, but experience has taught me otherwise. The reality? Not every tip or trick works for every host—or every audience.

One of the most debated techniques in talk radio is the “tease”- that carefully crafted promise of what’s coming next. Let me be upfront: I stopped listening to other radio hosts years ago. Not because I don’t respect or enjoy their work, but because I found myself inadvertently borrowing their ideas. It’s a slippery slope when you admire the craft so deeply.

That said, a while back, I broke my own rule and tuned into a show that had an intriguing topic. They had me hooked – until the host abruptly went to break with, “Coming up next, a representative from the Central Florida Humane Society will be in to talk about the kitten population.” And just like that, I was out. I changed the station and never returned.

Here’s my hot take: I hate the art of the tease.

Over the years, I’ve had countless consultants and program directors insist, “Russ, you have to tease your next segment!” My response? “No, I don’t.” Here’s why:

A “Tease” Can Be a Turnoff

Sometimes the next segment, by title alone, doesn’t sound exciting—but we can make it fun. A dull-sounding topic doesn’t mean the content itself won’t surprise and engage listeners. Forcing a tease risks losing people before we even get the chance to surprise them.

• Radio is About Being in the Moment

What if I don’t know exactly what’s coming next? Talk radio thrives on spontaneity. Some of the best segments are born during the break—fresh, unfiltered, and relevant to what’s happening in real-time. Why box myself in with a tease that may no longer fit the moment?

• The Sponsored Segment Conundrum

Let’s be honest: not every segment is a home run. Sponsored content or sales-driven segments are part of the job, but they’re rarely the most engaging part of the show. A forced tease in these cases feels insincere, and listeners can tell.

The hosts I’ve always admired – legends like Ron & Ron, Jim Philips, and Howard Stern – didn’t rely on teases to keep me tuned in. I stayed with Ron & Ron out of loyalty. I listened to Jim Philips because I wanted to know what had him fired up that day. I followed Howard Stern because I couldn’t wait to hear the next crazy thing he’d say. None of them felt the need to force-feed a tease.

That’s not to say teases don’t work for some hosts. I’ve heard great teases that kept me glued to the dial. I’ve even used them myself when it made sense – but only when it felt authentic. The problem arises when consultants push the idea that a tease is mandatory in every break.

Talk radio is a deeply personal medium. It’s about connecting with your audience in a way that feels genuine. A great host knows their strengths and plays to them, even if it means breaking the so-called rules.

So, to my fellow talk show hosts: take the advice of consultants and program directors with a grain of salt. What works for one show might not work for you. And if you’re like me, don’t be afraid to ditch the tease. Sometimes, the best way to keep your audience engaged is to simply be yourself.

MONDAY MEMO: “Dear Santa…”

imYour topic is often plucked from the on-hour newscast, asking callers’ take on what you reckon to be top-of-mind and relevant to listeners you target.

And as I have recommended here previously, it’s always useful to give ‘em a second reason to call. Hosts I coach pose a “Bonus Question,” generally something less controversial, softer, and (if you dare) fun.

Examples, evergreens that have lit-up the lines for hosts I coach:

• Dating co-workers” (Every workplace has one poorly-kept secret.)

• Your biggest gripe about where you work?” (“No names!”)

• What is the one thing about your spouse you would change?”

• Talking your way out of traffic tickets”

• Your least favorite song?” (An alert producer can quickly search YouTube and play a portion.)

Now – as it’s beginning to look a LOT like Christmas – many shoppers are short on ideas (and do-re-mi). So, consider asking for cool stocking stuffer suggestions. And don’t be surprised when callers answer your Bonus Question first (or don’t even weigh-in on topic du jour).

President-elect Donald Trump Honored at Sold Out FOX Event

Trump at Patriot AwardsFOX Nation’s sixth annual Patriot Awards ceremony took place last evening in a sold-out event at the Tilles Center for Performing Arts in Brookville, New York on Long Island. Emceed by Long Island native and FOX News Channel’s top-rated primetime host Sean Hannity, the Patriot Awards honor and recognize America’s finest patriots, including military veterans, first responders and other inspirational everyday heroes.
