PANCAN held 60 such events across the country to raise money and awareness for pancreatic cancer research. Hochman, whose father passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2009, hosted his eighth consecutive Purple Stride event in South Florida. This year’s Broward-Palm Beach Purple Stride Event, held in Boca Raton, Florida, raised over $300,000.
