NPR Shows Remain Atop Triton Digital Podcast Ranker

NPR’s “NPR News Now” and “Up First” kept their #1 and #2 places (respectively) on Triton Digital’s U.S. Podcast Ranker for May (April 29 – June 2). The ranker presents the top U.S. podcasts based on weeklyim average downloads for shows that opt in. This month sees the inclusion of iHeart Audience Network podcasts and a lot of shows debuting on the chart for the first time. Some of those include “Stuff You Should Know” at #6, “The Breakfast Club” at #16, “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” at #26, “The Sean Hannity Show” at #63, and “The Jesse Kelly Show” at #84. iHeartMedia Debuts “The Patriot” in Vero Beach

iHeartMedia Treasure Coast announces the debut of the new “Newsradio 107.9 FM/1370 AM The Patriot” on (former oldies) WZTA-AM/W300BQ, Vero Beach. The station is airing “The Brian Mudd Show” in morning drive, simulcast from its home base at WJNO-AM, West Palm Beach. Otherim programming includes Premiere Networks’ “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show” and “The Jesse Kelly Show,” as well as programming from Westwood One. iHeartMedia SVP of programming Jason Carr says, “We’re excited to bring ‘The Patriot’ to Vero Beach with local talk and news from ‘The Brian Mudd Show’ and some of the biggest names in national talk radio. ‘The Patriot’ will super-serve the growing Vero Beach community, with the most up-to-date news, weather and sports updates, including sources like FOX News and the Florida News Network.”

Premiere Networks Host, Producer Honored with Gracie Award

Two Premiere Networks staffers were honored at the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation’s 48th annual Gracie Awards at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles. “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” producer Alice Mroczkowski was honored in the Producer – Talk [Radio – Nationally Syndicated Commercial] category and “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show” co-host Danielle Monaro was honored in the Co-host [Radio – Nationally Syndicated Commercial] category for the second time in her career.
