The 24th annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon – held on August 17-18 – raised more than $7.1 million. Sports talk WEEI, Boston owner Audacy says, “With the generous support of the Jimmy Fund community and Red Sox Nation, the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon has now raised more than $87 million to strike out cancer since the first broadcast in 2002.
