Audacy’s KYW Newsradio celebrated its 60th anniversary at Philadelphia’s Bellevue Hotel on September 17. The event was a highlight of the station’s year-long celebrations, including events and on-air programs throughout 2025. The company says the gala marks six decades since the station adopted its all-news format in September 1965 and honors KYW’s enduring legacy as a trusted source for breaking news, traffic, weather and local service journalism.
