Rich Valdés is this week’s guest on the award-winning PodcastOne series, “The Michael Harrison Interview.” He is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in multiple media formats including radio, podcasting, television, and print journalism as well as a demonstrated passion for policy, education, and community volunteerism. He is the host of Westwood One’s “America at Night” airing weeknights from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am ET. An eclectic generalist, he talks with guests and callers about a spectrum of topics ranging from current events and politics to entertainment and pop culture. Valdés was named permanent host of the show in October of 2022 filling the big shoes of the late Jim Bohannon, who passed away shortly thereafter following a brave battle against esophageal cancer. He’s a proud American of Puerto Rican heritage – a Gen-X’er who was born in Brooklyn and grew up in New Jersey.
