Starnes Media Group’s news/talk KWAM, Memphis was honored with the Best Large Market News Coverage award during the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters Excellence in Broadcasting Contest. The station earned a second-place finish in “Best Public Service” and the station was lauded specifically for its coverage of a 2022 mass shooting that locked down the city.
