iHeartMedia Staff Cuts Happening as Company “Evolving” Programming
iHeartMedia alerts its employees via a memo from chief programming officer Tom Poleman and Multiplatform Group CEO Ann Marie Licata that it will be eliminating some positions as the
company works to become more nimble. The memo also notes that while it will be creating new roles to this end in the future, the unfortunate reality is that some people are going to lose their jobs. “We have given this a great deal of thought and do not take this step lightly; we are deeply grateful for the contributions of those affected, and we’re committed to supporting them through this transition.”
