Mike Gallagher Broadcasting from Israel

Salem Radio Network talk host Mike Gallagher is broadcasting his nationally syndicated program from Israel this week with the help of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ). After theim Hamas terror attack in Israel in October, Gallagher and his audience led a fundraising effort for the IFCJ that raised $342,000 in a few weeks. IFCJ is sponsoring Gallagher’s upcoming visit in order to spotlight the humanitarian effort that is underway during the war with Hamas. In addition to broadcasting his daily show from Jerusalem, Gallagher will tour parts of Israel – including the Gaza envelope in the Southern District of Israel – interviewing survivors of the October attack, Israeli military officials, and officials from the IFCJ.

SiriusXM announces that it will take over New Hampshire’s Red Arrow Diner in Manchester on January 22-23, rebranding it the “SiriusXM Red Arrow Diner” for the special event. Patriot channel host David Webb will broadcast his program live from the diner, which has long been regarded as a can’t-miss stop for candidates along the campaign trail. During the broadcasts Webb will be joined in person by politicians, key campaign surrogates, and top experts.

Public Radio’s “The World” Hits Record Number of Affiliates

The GBH and PRX produced public radio news show, “The World,” is now airing on a record 376 public radio stations across the United States and in Canada. The two public media organizations say the program is heardim by more than 2 million people nationwide on a weekly basis. “The World” executive producer Dan Lothian says, “We’re delighted to welcome people from Florida, Wisconsin, Nevada, Ohio, Iowa, New York, Michigan, Illinois, and Kansas to the hundreds of communities listening to The World’s global coverage. Daily Soap Operas Being Set for Radio Syndication

A startup radio syndication firm SoapKast launched by Andrew Pemberton-Fowler has developed a soon-to-be-released daily, one-hour program titled, “The SoapKast Hour.”  Each installment of the show consists of two original radio soap operas, “Kingsport” and “Affairs of the Heart,” targeted for what is being described asim “modern audiences.” According to Pemberton-Fowler, “‘The SoapKast Hour’ targets women 24-59 who are looking for daily original, high-quality drama. ‘The SoapKast Hour’ will keep audiences coming back day after day to hear the unfolding drama of ‘Kingsport,’ a story about unhappy people searching for happiness, and ‘Affairs of the Heart,’ an uneasy tale about class, wealth, and money set in a small college town.” The show will be available to stations via barter with 10 local and eight national spots per episode. Good Karma’s 101.7 The Truth Makes Programming Changes

Good Karma Brands’ talk WGKB-AM/W269DL, Milwaukee “101.7 The Truth” makes a few changes to its programming lineup. The morning drive program “MKE in the Morning” with host Melanie Ricks is replaced by “Truth Be Told With DT and Telly” – co-hosted by Telly Hughes and Denise Thomas – and airs from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Ricks remains with the station and will host “Nothin’ But the Truth,” from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm daily, effective April 3. To accommodate the changes, “The Truth With Sherwin Hughes” – heard from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm – moves to the 9:00 am to 12:00 noon daypart.
