New York Festivals Storytellers Gala announces the 2026 Radio Awards winners and American media companies taking home trophies include ESPN, NPR, Alabama Media Group, WBEZ, SiriusXM, Bloomberg, iHeartMedia and CBS News. NYF says, “Engaging storytelling and audio innovation took center stage at the 2026 Storytellers Gala virtual event, celebrating the achievements of global creators in radio and podcasting. Innovative audio storytelling from creators across six continents was evaluated by the New York Festivals 2026 Radio Awards Grand Jury. The new award launched in 2023, in partnership with the National Press Club, goes to the highest scoring entry in the following news program categories: Best Coverage of Breaking News Story, Best Coverage of Ongoing News Story, Best Nonfiction Series, and News Podcast.
