Audacy Buffalo Wins Five Broadcasters Awards
The Buffalo operations of Audacy were recently honored with five awards at the 2026 Buffalo Broadcasters Awards and Hall of Fame induction – an annual ceremony hosted by the Buffalo Broadcasters Association. The company’s WGR Sports Radio 550 won Station of the Year; WBEN Newsradio’s “A New Morning” was named Radio Program of the Year; and WGR’s Sal Capaccio took home the Sports Professional of the Year honor. The Audacy Sports Podcast “It’s Always Gameday in Buffalo” with Sal Capaccio and Matt Bove, produced by Mike Rabiej won Podcast of the Year and WGR’s Owen Parker was named Breakout Talent of the Year.
