NYSBA Wraps Regional Training Sessions
The New York State Broadcasters Association has finished up its 2026 Upstate Regional Training Sessions and Awards Luncheons on Friday (10/2) in Albany after sessions and luncheons in seven cities from NYC to Buffalo. The Upstate regional gatherings opened with a training session led by Derron Steenbergen, president and founder of the Swagger Institute, in which he led broadcasters through practical strategies, including AI-powered prospecting, to give sales and management teams tools they can put to work right away. NYSBA president and executive director Heidi Raphael says, “It is a privilege to honor the inspiring broadcasters across our state who do so much for industry the communities they serve.
