New Vince Coglianese Show Replaces WWO’s Dan Bongino Show

Cumulus Media announces that current WMAL-FM, Washington, DC afternoon drive host Vince Coglianese is taking over as host of the Westwood One nationally syndicated 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm program currently hosted by Dan Bongino, who will exit after his March 14 show to become deputy FBI director. The deal includes “The VINCE Show” airing in the early afternoon daypart and the one-hour “VINCE” podcast dropping daily. Silverloch Productions, founded by Dan and Paula Bongino, will produce the VINCE podcast to be distributed by the Cumulus Podcast Network. “The VINCE Show” will launch on Westwood Oneimg with more than 250 affiliate stations. Coglianese comments, “I am beyond thrilled to be stepping into this role with Westwood One and Silverloch and can’t thank my WMAL family in Washington enough for the eight incredible years we’ve already spent together. Susan Larkin Joins NAB Radio Board of Directors

Audacy chief operating officer Susan Larkin is appointed to the National Association of Broadcasters Radio Board of Directors by Radio Board Chair Collin Jones, assuming the seat previously held by David Field.img Larkin leads Audacy’s portfolio of markets, revenue and content teams, overseeing the company’s extensive audio platform, which includes broadcasting, podcasting, digital, network, live events, music, sports and news. She is also a board member of the Radio Advertising Bureau and has served on the boards of the Florida Association of Broadcasters and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

NAB Elects New Board Leaders

The National Association of Broadcasters announces the results of the 2024 NAB Executive Committee elections. Collin Jones, executive vice president, corporate strategy and development of Cumulusim Media and president, Westwood One, was elected radio board chair by the NAB radio board. Kevin Perry, president and CEO of Perry Publishing and Broadcasting Company, was elected radio board first vice chair, and Leonard Wheeler, president of Mel Wheeler, Inc., was elected radio board second vice chair. Chris Ornelas, executive vice president and general counsel of Beasley Media Group, was reelected to the radio board’s major group representative seat on the NAB board’s executive committee. Perry Sook continues the second year of his role as joint board chair. The position is elected every two years. The elections took place at the NAB Board of Directors meeting, held June 3-4.

Mike Eaby Promoted to VP at Westwood One Sports

Cumulus Media promotes Mike Eaby to vice president/executive producer of Westwood One Sports. In his new role, Eaby will manage and oversee all Westwood One Sports multi-platform content and live event production. He succeeds Howard Deneroff, who departs his position after more than 35 yearsim with Westwood One Sports. Eaby joined Westwood One as an editor after graduating from college in 1997. He has been an on-site producer for the NFL on Westwood One for 25 years, including 16 Super Bowls and 23 AFC/NFC Championship Games. Eaby has also served as an on-site producer for the network’s NCAA March Madness basketball tournament broadcasts for 23 years. Cumulus Names Collin Jones to Lead Westwood One

Cumulus Media announces that Collin Jones adds the role of president of Westwood One to his responsibilities, effective January 1, 2024. Jones, who also holds the title, EVP of corporate strategy & development for Cumulus Media, takes over for Suzanne Grimes who has decided to “embark on the next chapter of her career after eight years.” Jones has served with Cumulus Media since 2011 and is responsible for leading the company’s strategy, corporate development (including major partnershipsim and M&A), and investor relations efforts. Jones has led the Cumulus through several strategic transactions and growth initiatives including the acquisition of Westwood One in 2013. Additionally, he oversees IncentRev, the company’s e-commerce and daily deal platform.
