Public media firm WNYC in New York names Sonia Rao the culture reporter joining the WNYC / Gothamist newsroom. Rao will cover the arts, with a specialty in film, television, and food. She has covered arts and culture for a decade, most recently as a features reporter and critic at The Washington Post.
