Starnes Media Group announces that it has signed a long-term contract extension with KWAM, Memphis news anchor Ben Deeter. He’ll continue to co-host the award-winning “Wake Up Memphis” show as well as anchor the midday newscasts. Deeter joined KWAM in 2021 after graduating from Cedarville University. He’s the winner of
multiple Tennessee Association of Broadcasters awards as well as a regional Edward R. Murrow Award.
