JVC Media Closes on Long Island AM and FM Translator
On Monday (6/26), JVC Media closed on its acquisition of WLIM, Medford, New York and its FM translator
W227CL at 93.3, licensed to Port Jefferson, New York. JVC is airing a classic hits format on the frequencies but says that a new format is coming to the station soon. The broker on the transaction was Mark Jorgenson of Jorgenson Broadcast Brokerage, Inc.
