At the time of this writing, Bill O’Reilly is certainly one of the hottest commodities on cable news/talk television.

After years as an investigative reporter and newspaper columnist, O’Reilly went to anchoring the television news magazine “Inside Edition.” When FOX News Channel was looking for a talk host to lead a new show that would combine the elements of talk radio with a news magazine, they brought in Bill O’Reilly and the results have been fabulously successful.

Bill O’Reilly comes from a working-class background and it’s that appeal which has helped him rise to prominence in the talk TV game. His average looks and plain-spoken manner gives him that everyman appeal which strikes home so strongly with the conservative core that makes up his viewers. He has mastered the “common sense ain’t so common” indignation that works so well for him when exposing incompetence, fraud and corruption.

A past recipient of the Freedom of Speech Award, O’ Reilly has just entered radio syndication via Westwood One.
